   Panda 48kWh Technical Notes 

    Panda 48kWh LiFePO4 battery pack uses 48pcs 314Ah Grade A LiFePO4 cells in a 16S3P configuration. Three cells are connected in parallel first, and then 16 groups are connected in series to build a 51.2V 942Ah battery system. 

   The battery pack is designed for high-capacity home ESS, solar storage, off-grid and project applications. It includes a 300A smart BMS, DC breaker, touch screen and CAN / RS485 communication support for compatible inverter systems. 

    300A current note: 300A refers to the rated maximum current capability of the battery system. In CAN closed-loop operation, the BMS may send factory default operating limits to the inverter, such as 240A charge current limit and 270A discharge current limit. These are default CAN operating limits, not a hardware fault limit. 

   If a higher current limit is required, please confirm inverter rating, cable size, breaker/fuse, temperature, parallel configuration and local electrical requirements first. Factory firmware or parameter adjustment may be available where system conditions allow.

    Q1: What does 16S3P mean? Panda 48kWh uses 48pcs 314Ah LiFePO4 cells. Three cells are connected in parallel first, and then 16 groups are connected in series to build a 51.2V battery system. 

    Q2: Why does my inverter show 240A charge limit and 270A discharge limit if the battery is rated at 300A? 300A is the rated maximum current capability. The 240A / 270A values are factory default CAN operating limits sent by the BMS to the inverter for system stability, thermal margin, cell consistency and inverter compatibility. 

    Q3: Does the BMS monitor every single cell? The BMS monitors the 16 series groups. The battery uses parallel cell groups internally, and the BMS manages group voltage, current, protection and communication data. 

    Q4: Is 300A suitable for my inverter? It depends on inverter power, continuous current, cable size, breaker/fuse rating, installation temperature and parallel plan. Please confirm the full system design before using high current settings. 

    Q5: Does it support CAN / RS485 communication? Yes, CAN / RS485 communication is supported. Final compatibility depends on inverter brand, protocol setting, firmware and system configuration. Please contact us with your inverter model before ordering. 

    Q6: Can I connect multiple Panda 48kWh batteries in parallel? Parallel connection is possible when the system design, cables, protection devices and inverter settings are matched correctly. Please confirm the parallel plan with us before installation. 

    Q7: What should I prepare for delivery and installation? This is a heavy battery pack. Please confirm delivery address, unloading condition, forklift or liftgate requirement before shipment. US warehouse stock is available for faster local delivery. 

    Q8: Can I install it indoors or in an attached garage? Please check local code, AHJ and insurance requirements before installation, especially for indoor or attached-garage installations.
