What Is the Apex Vertical V3 Battery Box Designed For?

The Apex Vertical V3 is intended for experienced DIY builders and qualified installers who want a self-contained floor-standing enclosure for home solar storage, backup power, off-grid workshops, farms or other stationary energy-storage projects.

Preinstalled JK 200A BMS, Touchscreen and Communication

The current USA-stock configuration uses a preinstalled JK PB2A16S20P V19 200A BMS with 2A active balancing. The 4.3-inch touchscreen, 200A DC breaker and main internal wiring are also preinstalled to reduce repetitive enclosure assembly work.

Bluetooth supports local monitoring through the JK app. CAN, RS485 and RS232 are available for system communication. Inverter compatibility depends on the exact inverter model, protocol, firmware and cable pinout. A communication port does not guarantee plug-and-play compatibility with every inverter.

Can Multiple Apex Vertical V3 Batteries Be Connected in Parallel?

Up to 15 completed battery packs may be used in parallel when the batteries have matched cell type and capacity, compatible BMS firmware and settings, coordinated communication, correctly sized equal-length cables, suitable busbars and overcurrent protection, and a system design approved for the intended current. Do not mix unmatched batteries or assume that physical installation alone makes a parallel system ready to operate.

Assembly and Safety Planning

• Use matched cells with a consistent state of charge before series connection.
• Confirm cell orientation, polarity and busbar alignment before tightening.
• Use the cell manufacturer’s specified terminal torque.
• Keep insulation barriers in place and protect tools from accidental short circuits.
